About Me
A lot of people have been asking where I'm from: I'm Chinese Italian — Chinese, born and raised in Italy. I've lived 6–7 years in China, 6–7 years in the States, 1.5 years in Amsterdam, the rest in Italy, and now Bali.
Bali is my Chinese name — in Mandarin it's written as 巴黎. Sabrina is my Italian name.
My story
I had an abusive past growing up and was severely troubled by it until the age of 30. The first thing I wanted to do after overcoming years of abuse and restrictions was to help and inspire people in the same situation I was in—I was simply not living a life.
My past resulted in an anxiety disorder and a heart condition that require me to take medication every day, as well as a depression that lasted for years. These symptoms were present for as long as I can remember. But now, they have been replaced by constant peace and emotional mastery (without forcefully controlling my emotions). This is simply too good to keep to myself.
I believe this kind of trauma is so common that people experience it without even knowing it. It's slow, intrusive, and so normalized that people don't acknowledge it—or feel ashamed to—yet they are still affected by it daily in the form of stress, anxiety, sadness, and unhappiness. This ripples out into the collective unconscious, creating a vicious cycle where everyone ends up negatively affecting each other.
But there is a way out.
